Cascade has always been my favourite for its authentic Chinese food. I always wonder why is it pricey but the fact is the price is worth for its quantity quality and taste. The food is so filling and you don’t regret paying. I have a lot of takeaway but its good to dine in sometimes. This happened in the Cascade, Medavakkam branch. We ordered Thai duck meat and jasmine rice. What we got was some red meat chunks and huge ginger pieces in the name of galangal and definitely not jasmine rice. When we asked the manager he claimed it was duck meat. After we insisted that he speaks the truth and told him that we know the difference between a bird meat and red meat, he went into silence. We asked him to pack the food so that we can have a sample in case we want to escalate it. He offered to cancel. But we didn't. Cascade used to be our favorite, but not anymore.
