I recently visited The Burger Company and decided to try their Crunchos Burger through a takeaway order. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The burger was extremely dry, lacking both flavor and moisture, making it almost inedible. It felt as if it had been sitting out for too long or was overcooked. Given the price point, I had expected better quality and taste. What added to the disappointment was the fact that I had opted for takeaway, which meant I didn’t have the option to return or replace the order immediately. To make matters worse, I later noticed that the cold drinks being sold were priced above the Maximum Retail Price (MRP), which is not only unethical but also against consumer protection norms. This raised serious concerns about the overall ethics and practices followed by the outlet. While I appreciate that the owner responded with a detailed explanation regarding the situation, it still leaves one important question unanswered: If quality is genuinely a priority, why was substandard food given out for takeaway in the first place? Overall, I would rate this place 0 out of 5, both in terms of food quality and customer ethics. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place to others.
