I had a fantastic stay at HK Clarks Inn, Amritsar. The location is excellent,just a short distance from the Golden Temple and other major attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the modern amenities you’d expect. What really stood out was the hospitality,the staff were warm, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. Check-in was smooth, and they even helped arrange local sightseeing. The food at the in-house restaurant was delicious, especially the Punjabi dishes, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. It’s a perfect choice for both tourists and business travelers. Highly recommended! Service: 5

It's tooooo pathetic hotel...rooms are lousy dirty third class..just like a one star hotel or some lodge. The furniture is broken..walls have seepage...bathroom dirty... commode are like public toilet.. We can't use the pool in the evening ... I don't want to give it any star.. Overall pathetic hotel. At this cost you can book any other much better hotel...or please spend little more and book some other hotel... Ghatiya is the word I will use for this hotel.... Clever people already know the condition of their so called hotel...that's why they have put the condition non refundable... Thank God we are here for a night... Another night I can't even think of staying here... These people called me and asked me to remove the review... Service: 1

Public Review: HK Clarks Inn, Amritsar HK Clarks Inn in Amritsar is a well-built hotel with good infrastructure, comfortable ambience, and decent services. However, it is disappointing to see such an establishment resorting to illegal encroachments on public land. The hotel has taken over open public spaces and footpaths, converting them into private parking and restricted-use areas. This not only disrupts public movement but also reflects poorly on a reputed hospitality business that should set an example of responsible civic behavior. More concerning is the interference the hotel exercised when lawful demolition of these encroachments was ordered by the High Court. Instead of cooperating with legal proceedings, the hotel brought in the ruling Local Body Minister of Punjab to pressure and intimidate the enforcement staff, attempting to shield its illegal actions. Such influence-driven resistance to law enforcement is unjustifiable and deeply troubling. While the hotel itself provides a good experience for its guests, one must question—why is it not satisfied with the land it legally owns? Why must public property be misused for private gain? Responsible businesses should respect the rights of the public and uphold civic responsibility rather than bending the rules to serve their interests. Encroachments like these set a dangerous precedent, depriving citizens of their rightful space and creating chaos in urban planning. It is time that public interest is prioritized over private profits, and the rule of law is upheld without fear or favoritism. Service: 3
