Recently had Dinner at Indian restaurant - India on my Platter at Fortune Select excalibur which is a must visit if you love delicious Indian cuisine with warm interiors and a very talented vocalist Nizam Sabir Khan who sung some Gulam Ali and Mehendi Hassan Gazal`s and lovely Rafi Songs to make this a very very memorable evening for us.
Here we started with Chhaach and Ram Laddu with green chutney. Street food in a five star neatly served makes it safe to eat, as we get tempted but thinking of the hygiene and resist at times at the open market place. Gosht Dori kebabs and Achari Khumb were tasty and so was Paneer pasnda ki tikki.
Go for the main course which is devilishly delicious, First is Dal IOMP, which is Dal Makhani cooked overnight and just like the Famous Dal Bukhara of ITC, which is creamy and has the aroma of khara masalas. Sarso ka saag with ulte tawe ka parantha was out of this world really. Dhaba Murg curry , saag paneer and Panjabi Kadhi pakora were all just perfect. Chicken and Subz Zafrani Biryani were a feast to the eyes but I was full so cud`nt try but liked by others.
Desserts are something you can not resist if you have a sweet tooth. Rasmalai, Gazar Halwa, Sheer Korma and Sheere ki Barfi were the desserts which we shared a spoon each. All were awesome but the star dessert was Sheere ki barfi which is Saffron flavored Semolina with loads of dry fruits and was very very tasty.
Excellent cuisine which could enhance the fervor in long awaited meet-up. To enlighten your taste buds with the authentic Indian gourmet,it is the best place. I also really enjoyed the ambiance and the cordial service offered and wish to visit it again.
