We bought a cassata cake from The Bread Basket this evening for our parents’ anniversary, and it completely ruined the celebration. The moment we cut the cake, it had a foul smell and tasted clearly rotten. It was shocking and extremely disappointing, especially for such an important family occasion. The cake was so bad that we had no choice but to throw it straight into the dustbin. Imagine spending money on a special cake for your parents’ anniversary and ending up throwing it away because it’s spoiled. Serving rotten food is absolutely unacceptable. This shows a serious lack of quality control and respect for customers. What was supposed to be a happy celebration turned into frustration and embarrassment. Worst experience ever.
