Negative Feedback – Big Tree Café, Gurgaon I recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Big Tree Café, Gurgaon on the 6th, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food served was cold, tasteless, and lacked freshness. For an event we planned in advance, this level of service was completely unacceptable. We were told not to bring our own photographer, as the café insisted on arranging one. We agreed and paid the amount requested. However, the photos we received were unedited, poorly captured, and not delivered properly even after several follow-ups. It’s been over 20 days, and no one from their team is responding to my calls or messages. I have tried reaching out multiple times, but the calls are either ignored or disconnected. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor food quality, and zero customer support post-event left us extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this place for any personal celebrations or events. I would like to bring to your attention the issue regarding the photographer, Mr. Junaid, who was referred to me directly by your team at Big Tree Café. He was the one assigned to cover the photography for my daughter’s birthday celebration. Unfortunately, after the event, he has completely stopped responding to my calls. When I finally managed to speak to him, he simply told me, “Please speak to the Big Tree Café team, I’m not responsible,” and disconnected the call. Now the question is — whom should I speak to from the Big Tree Café team? Because even the person from your team who coordinated everything is not answering my calls either. This is highly unprofessional and extremely disappointing, especially after making full payment and trusting your staff for such an important event. The ambience at this place is undeniably romantic — soft lighting, a cozy setup, and the added charm of live music really elevate the mood. It’s definitely a great place if you're looking for a quiet, intimate evening. One of the standout positives for me has been the staff, especially Vikas. He is extremely courteous, attentive, and goes the extra mile to ensure customers are well taken care of. His service alone is enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. However, the biggest letdown — and it's been consistent over time — is the food. It’s disappointing, to say the least. The quality, taste, and presentation all fall flat, and what’s worse is that the management doesn't seem to care. You get the feeling that food is the last thing on their priority list, which is unfortunate for a restaurant setting. To sum up: Ambience: 5/5. Service (especially Vikas): 5/5. If you’re coming just for the atmosphere and good service, it’s worth it. But if you care about what’s on your plate — lower your expectations.
