We recently visited Barbeque Company for an office lunch, and the experience was far from satisfactory. To start with, the restaurant offers no proper car parking facility, which immediately created inconvenience. The lift leading to the dining area had a strong unpleasant odor—definitely not the welcome you'd expect. Once inside, things didn’t improve much. The chairs looked worn out and several of them were either broken or unstable, giving an overall shabby impression. The live counter, which is typically the highlight of such places, was almost empty for the first half of our visit. Guests were standing around waiting, and even then, it was only restocked after several follow-ups. What was even more disappointing was the lack of decent vegetarian options. For a place that claims to cater to group lunches and buffet experiences, this was a major letdown—especially when a good number of guests in our group were vegetarians. The service was slow and inattentive throughout. We had to repeatedly request basic items, and even then, responses were delayed or overlooked. It felt more like we were inconveniencing the staff rather than being served by them. All in all, the experience lacked both quality and hospitality. As a group, we left unimpressed and would hesitate to return or recommend it for any future gatherings. Barbeque Company, Patna is a... unique experience. You take a lift to the 4th floor and boom—you're suddenly inside the restaurant. No reception, no foyer, just “surprise, dinner!” Food? Okayish. Mocktails? Barely memorable. Hygiene? Questionable. Service? What service? You literally have to get up and search for waiters like it’s a side quest. And just when you’re trying to chew through something mildly warm, they start blasting very loud music out of nowhere—for no clear reason. It happened a few times, and each time it killed the appetite faster than the food could. Not a disaster, but definitely not a destination either. Come if you're hungry and nearby. Or bored. Or both. We recently visited Barbeque Company for an office lunch, and unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of expectations. To begin with, the restaurant lacks adequate car parking space, which created unnecessary hassle right at the start. The lift leading to the restaurant had a bad odor, setting a negative tone even before we reached the dining area. The service throughout our visit was quite disappointing. We had to repeatedly ask—sometimes up to four times—for basic things before anyone responded or acted. This kind of inattentiveness made the experience frustrating. The live counter, was nearly empty when we arrived and was only replenished after multiple reminders. One particularly unpleasant moment was when I asked for extra Golgappa at the live counter and received a very odd and unwelcome response from the staff. Instead of making us feel like valued guests, it almost felt like they were doing us a favor by providing food and service—despite the fact that we were paying customers. Overall, the visit lacked the hospitality and warmth one expects from a restaurant experience. As a group, we didn’t feel welcomed, and this reflects poorly on the establishment’s service standards.
