Ok type restaurant in North Lakhimpur bypass. The food is too oily & tastes ok. The ambience is also not good. Better options available in nearby areas. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Everything else takes a backseat in North Lakhimpur and the priority is always given to good food. If a place offers good food then every sin can be forgotten and forgiven. However the Bambooz Family Restaurant offered nothing but disappointment. We were a group of 4 guys, we arrived at the restaurant around 3 in the afternoon absolutely famished and we ordered simple dishes such as steamed rice and pork with bamboo shoots. The rice was half cooked and we could feel it in every bite, the pork was as bland as a porridge made of sawdust. Just because it's a boiled dish doesn't mean it has to be bland. We ended up complaining about the food served here to the manager/cashier. This place deserves one star based on the food alone but since it's a new establishment I'm giving it 2 stars with hopes for improvement.
