Received Moldy Sourdough from Zepto Baker’s Dozen - Major Quality Concerns I ordered a Multigrain Sourdough Loaf from Baker’s Dozen via Zepto, and was shocked to receive it completely covered in fungus 2 days before its stated expiry date (11th Sept). This isn’t just a case of a missing or wrong item—it’s a serious matter that could risk someone’s health. And all Zepto can offer in return is an apology and a refund of ₹152, all while making crores in revenue and topping sales charts. For a brand that claims its products are fresh, preservative-free, and high-quality, this is a serious red flag. The fact that it reached me in such a poor state raises major concerns about both the storage practices at Zepto and the quality control at Baker’s Dozen. Intense shift to plastic packaging really is a let down from The Baker's Dozen. In a time where everyone has made a move towards being more sustainable The Baker's Dozen seems to be moving in the opposite direction. Simple reason as to why I have stopped buying from them
