If you're Italian and Vegetarian cuisine lover, come here. Nicely cooked white sauce pasta, vegetable pizza and bao can make a profound impression on you. The cooks here prepare good waffles, red velvet cakes and brownies. This place is famous for delicious beer, margaritas or rum. Great fruit punch, cold coffee or lime juice will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back.
If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is appealing at this restaurant. Fast service is something visitors agree upon here. Prices at The Backyard deserve attention as they're reasonable. The fancy decor and exotic atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

The Backyard, Punjabi Bagh, Delhi is a lounge bar and restaurant with international cuisine which makes your palate filled with flavours of joy, contentment and happiness with every bite of various servings.
Ambience:
Personally, there could be an improvement in the ambience but it still gives a rusty european lounge bar.
Food:
They are in business since 7 years and I guess this says it all, they know QUALITY and QUANTITY. I highly recommend vegetarian ravioli and Chicken Dimsum.
Sushi platter: we ordered veg and non veg platters with 4 varities of sushi each. Ginger was soaked perfectly and it added as an appetizer seperately too. The microgreens used is very positive on the sushi.
Chicken dimsum: wow, what flavours. It has a mixture of spice, sweetness with the juicy filling of meat and perfectly cooked.
Chicken bao: the bao is so soft, sweet with the right quantity of different sauce and crunchy chicken. Every bite brought a smile.
Butter garlic prawn dimsum: the garlic was owerpowering and left a slightly dryness in your palate. It must be had with the schezwan sauce to relish it.
Vegetarian Ravioli: the aroma defined the dish. Its filled with love and joy. You must experience the flavours.
Thai fried chicken: this is in the new menu they have launched recently and I must say that they have perfected the flavours.
Pricing: 1200-1500 for two. The Quality of the food, the quantity and the richness in flavours is worth every penny spent here. It is a must visit place for food lovers.
