The way to enter the restaurant is a little tacky. It's full of potholes. During rains avoid going. Food is good but can be better. Saying this becos we ordered chicken tandoori & It was tasty. chicken was well cooked on the outside but inside it was a bit raw. Service good Ambience good They say they offer live music but when we had been only mic was kept there and no one appeared to sing....finally they realized n took the mic away after a couple of hours. We had the pleasure of visiting The backlane kitchen and bar during this Diwali. The ambience and the food was exceptional. As it was diwali night, the restaurant was fully packed, maybe that was the reason service was bit slow. They had live band performance when we visited and the vibe was amazing. Coming to the food part, their advertise says menu is curated by celebrity chef and it is really really good. They have wide varieties of food options ranging from mughlai/North Indian to oriental. Their triple chicken fried rice is hands down best in Thane. Other starters like chicken lollipop, Mongolian chicken were also juicy and full of flavours. Will definitely visit again to try their other food items. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
