Their power backup system is very strange. The geyser, tea-coffee maker, electric blanket and mobile charging point does not work in case of power failure. Only one set of lights in the room work! They then give strange explanations like they will turn on the generator after you complain. But at 6 am in the morning, no staff is available. It is neither a hotel nor a homestay. Don’t stay here. Service: 3

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay, particularly regarding the power backup system. However, we would like to clarify a few points: 1. Remote Location: Kaza is located at a high altitude in a remote area & comparing it to a metropolitan city may not fully consider the logistical challenges that come with such a location. 2. Power Outages: Power cuts are unfortunately beyond the control of any hotel owner. However, we are among the few hotels in Kaza that provide a generator for emergency power backup, and we also have inverters installed for routine power supply needs. 3. Room Upgrade: Your reservation was made through a travel agent, and we addressed your concern about room size by upgrading you to a larger room at no additional cost. 4. Early Morning Services: Starting in September, temperatures in Kaza begin to drop significantly. Providing early morning services at 6 am is difficult, not just here but in any hotel across Lahaul, Spiti, Leh, and even in metropolitan cities. We are committed to offering our guests a comfortable and pleasant experience, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve. We sincerely hope you will give us another opportunity to serve you better in the future. Warm regards, Team The Alpinist

Dear All,From yesterday, few people's how never visited kaza, spiti, reviewing us the negative reviews on Google on behalf of spammers influencer Sakshi Dhanjal. Basic she's want the free accommodation at our property on account of they will give us good reviews on social media, which is not possible for us to provide free accommodation during this tough situation of covid-19. So, we totally denied her proposal. Now, she's writing negative reviews about our property on the Google with the help of her friend's. This is totally wrong and spoiling the image with undue advantage of social media platform.Money is not the matter for any spiti hotel owners, they always believe in serving the best possible hospitality at all level. With Gratitude,The Alpinist Cafe & Retreat, Kaza, Spiti
