Thampuran Hotel in Vizhinajam, Thiruvananthapuram is a great place to go for seafood. The fish is fresh and the dishes are authentic Kerala style. The service is attentive and efficient. The prices are reasonable. The only downside is that the parking is limited. I would definitely recommend Thampuran Hotel to anyone looking for a good seafood meal. After hearing a lot of reviews, I drove 20km yesterday afternoon and ate here..I thought I would get fresh fish, but the stone-like fish sat in the freezer and was fried before leaving the cold. As for the carp, it sat in the freezer and said it tasted good.. It came back disappointed.. The only thing left is a peace that I will never go there again..
