A delightful place to experience traditional Tamil cuisine with a royal touch! I recently visited Thanjai Thambivilas, and the entire experience — from the ambience to the food — was truly satisfying. The restaurant beautifully reflects the culture of Thanjavur, with elegant interiors, courteous staff, and most importantly, delicious, homely food. We tried their meals, tiffin items, and some traditional sweets — everything was flavorful, served hot, and reminded us of authentic home-cooked Tamil food. The banana leaf meals were especially a highlight! ️ Service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean and welcoming. It’s perfect for family outings, casual dinners, or even introducing guests to traditional Tamil Nadu cuisine.
