After a long walk around INTACH Heritage Centre, visit this restaurant and have a rest here. The menu of Mughlai cuisine is to the pleasure of all guests here. Delicious food is a recipe for success of Thalapakattu Biryani, its biryani are nicely cooked.

But people rate this place below average on Google.

Took a take-away from here while I was on a vacation here. While one cannot expect a hygienic environment here, food is actually good. Thalapakkatu biryani has always been one of my favorite biryani since I ate it first time in Chennai. Anyway, food made me nostalgic.

Full marks for food and VFM. Nothing else is worth mentioning.

Been here for the first time to try out biryani. The ambience is not attractive and the biryani we ordered was jus too oily. They said it's Chennai special so tried but it wasn't. The mutton pieces were not soft n big in size. Even the chicken wasn't fresh. It's more of oil dipped rice. Not gonna recommend this.
