If you never happened to taste Chinese cuisine, get your chance at Thakar Thal. The feature of this place is serving nicely cooked filet américain, kacamak and salads. I had very good experience today...
everything was awesome...
In farsan, i had khaman, was very good..
bhajiya was good...even tamarind chatni was good with green chatni...
I don't like puranpuri so I didn't tasted..
In sweet i had shrikhand.. it was mango flavour, was good
in sabji, i like mag sabji, it was awesome..another was undhiyu, poteto sabji and panner sabji..
only thing i didn't like was paneer sabji..taste was not good..
there was two option, dal and kadhi... both were awesome..
buttermilk was unlimited...
As kathiyawadi wants buttermilk in advance and i belong to kathiyawad(Junagadh), moj padi gy
Chapati was even good..
Overall very good experience..worth to visit...

Having dinner with family is always fun, specially when its gujarati thali :) ... who goes to gujarati thali place with friends anyhow ;)
Nitinbhai made sure that every table is being looked after and asked for their reviews. Constant forcing of food, a true hospitality of Kathiyawadi :)
What we had in thali:
SABZI:
Rajwadi undhiyu, Lasaniya bateka were average but
Rajwadi dhokli and veg jaipuri was amazing !! Oh damn that Veg Jaipuri was just yumm...
SWEETS:
Puranpuri : Looked more loke balushahi but damn this thing filled me up so fast, they served ghee over this so generously
Sitafal Basundi: I have tried this but my mom found it good
FARSAN:
Pineapple dhokla: well ...not comments :D
Samosa: 10/5 :D it was just too good
Dragon potato: it was just average
Dal and Kadhi: Both were good
Overall a good experience and will not say its a must visit place but its good gujarati thali if you are bored with gordhan thals and athithis
