Here you will be able to taste nicely cooked dal makhani, pizza Margherita and vada. The chef at this restaurant cooks good rice cakes, kulfi and gulab jamun. It's nice to try delicious margaritas. You will be offered great lassi, lemonade or coffee.

I recently visited **Thackers Hotel at Chowpatty** and tried their Gujarati Thali, priced at ₹750 plus taxes. The overall experience was excellent! The thali was superb and truly captured the authentic flavors of Gujarat. It included: - **4 sabjis**: Mix kathol, bhindi masala, aloo raswala, and green Gujarat - **3 types of rotis**: Roti, puri, and the star — biscuit bhakhri (absolutely delightful!) - **Farsan**: Dhokla, bhajiya, and dahi wada - **Sweet**: Angoor basundi (fixed on Sunday) - **Dal and kadhi** (both were on the sweeter side, as expected in Gujarati cuisine) - **Rice or pulav** - **Accompaniments**: Salad l, sweet and spicy chutney, pickle, green chilies (best), nimbu, and papad - **Buttermilk** The waiting time was just 5 minutes, and the service was efficient and courteous. Though it’s slightly on the expensive side, considering the variety and quality of the food, it's definitely worth indulging. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a wholesome and satisfying Gujarati meal in Mumbai.
