I had dinner at Thaal Kitchen, Kakkanad, on November 3, 2025. The food and table service were quite good, but I had an unpleasant experience at the cash counter. I was just checking the fragrance of an attar bottle kept there, and an elderly person at the counter told me that it’s only for customers who buy it. I was surprised because I had already dined there and just wanted to test the smell before deciding to purchase. The way he said it felt quite rude and judgmental, which left me disappointed. I hope the management takes note and ensures better customer handling in the future. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

For Vegetarians, Taal Kitchen is a hell. I strongly suggest if you are a pure vegetarian don't go to Taal kitchen. Another corn had to wait more than one hour after ordering food, that too didn't get full items. That got after 2 hours. Looks like there are less people to serve. Paneer I got was like a rubber. Looks like it is more than 10 days. When I asked, they told they got it today. May be they got minimum 10 days old Paneer.
