Our favorite tea spot in Kakkanad is Thaal Kitchen. We’re always on the lookout for the best tea spots nearby, and Thaal has become our regular since the quality at Ambience in Kakkanad started to drop. We usually go for morning tea, and it’s consistently good. We’ve also tried the chicken mandi and beef roast; the chicken mandhi was decent, but the beef roast was amazing. The ambience is pleasant, the place is spacious, and there’s plenty of parking, which is a bonus! Update: The tea isn't as good as it used to be, with a noticeable drop in taste. The only plus point is the ample seating space. Need to find a new tea spot tho. For Vegetarians, Taal Kitchen is a hell. I strongly suggest if you are a pure vegetarian don't go to Taal kitchen. Another corn had to wait more than one hour after ordering food, that too didn't get full items. That got after 2 hours. Looks like there are less people to serve. Paneer I got was like a rubber. Looks like it is more than 10 days. When I asked, they told they got it today. May be they got minimum 10 days old Paneer.
