Visited Chutneys recently and honestly felt it was quite overpriced for what it offered. Most of the dishes were just ok-ok – nothing really stood out or felt worth the hype. The food wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great; just average at best. Overall, not really value for money. I mean you could never go wrong with chutneys. The atmosphere was great, lots of different chutneys to choose from, hence the name. The service was fast, I went there at around 4pm and I had to wait just couple minutes for my food to arrive. My favourite was masala dosa, it was so crispy, golden, with soft aloo masala which all just melted in your mouth. I’m already hungry again while talking about it lol.
