After a long walk around Assi Ghat, visit this cafe and have a rest here. Here, you can find the recipes and ingredients of Australian and Indian cuisines. Nicely cooked pasta, breakfast sandwiches and indian pizza will impress you at the first bite. Many guests come to taste good brownies, cheesecakes and muffins. This place is famous for great smoothies, iced coffee or white coffee.

Terracotta Cafe is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Here you will pay affordable prices. There is a peaceful ambiance and lovely decor at this place. Google users are quite generous with this spot: it was granted 4.5 stars.

I recently visited Terracotta Café with the intention of sitting down to work. The café advertises itself as a relaxed place to work, but my experience was quite different. The moment I entered with my laptop, a staff member informed me that if I wanted to work, I’d need to pay ₹150 per hour. I found this unusual since I’ve worked remotely for a long time and visited many cafes, none of which had such conditions (though I understand if high footfall leads to such policies).Since I know Mac, the manager and owner, I asked him if I could simply place an order instead. He agreed, and I went ahead. I worked there for about 4 hours and ordered food and drinks worth around ₹400, which I think is fair considering I was alone and only occupying one seat. I paid ₹500.However, my time there wasn’t as peaceful as I’d hoped—I was frequently disturbed by grinder noises and internal staff meetings. When it came time to settle the bill, Mac came over, showed me the time I’d spent there, and made a remark: “You know what you did.” I was taken aback because I had, in good faith, ordered and paid a reasonable amount. I even asked him to be transparent and let me know what amount he expected. Instead, he told me not to pay anything, said he didn’t want my money, and walked away with the comment to “remember what you did.”As someone who has been visiting Terracotta Café for a while, this was a surprising and disappointing experience. I genuinely appreciate the café’s ambiance and the concept it promotes, but I felt uncomfortable with how the situation was handled. Clear communication and consistency would go a long way in ensuring regular customers feel welcome.

Tried the spicy fried fish and it was super good at an affordable price. Tried a pizza too but the crust was a little too biscuit-y. Overall and really nice experience, will definitely go again. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quaint cafe made on a house roof top, tin shed, floor seating and low tables. Expect nothing else but good food from this place. The place isnt really tidy and they need to put few more sign boards around & entrance is really shabby. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Hi Nidhi, Thank you for appreciating our food and service. We understand your feedback on the entrance and tidiness. During your visit, we were actually in the middle of some renovation work, taking advantage of the quieter days during the recent flood situation. We’re working on improving our signage and overall look, so your next visit should feel much fresher. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
