I’m staying at Wise Owl Comfotel, and since they don’t allow food delivery through Swiggy or Zomato, I ordered from 13 Parbon (Tero Parbon) — and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing food experiences I’ve had in Kolkata. I spent ₹1500, expecting authentic Bengali food, but what I received was poor in both quality and quantity. The portions were barely enough for one person, which is unacceptable at this price point. The only dish that was somewhat satisfactory was the Musur Dal. Everything else was a letdown — the Potol Bhaja cost ₹60 for just two pieces, which feels absurdly overpriced. To make things worse, the Kasha Mutton tasted like it had been cooked in old fish oil, leaving a strong and unpleasant flavor. Honestly, I fail to understand how this restaurant maintains a 4-star rating on Google. The food is nowhere close to that standard. It’s overpriced, underwhelming, and far from the true taste of Bengali cuisine. I’m sharing my receipt as proof because this is a genuine review — not written out of emotion but pure disappointment. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both quality and portion size. Food: 1 Service: 1
