We had travelled from Bangalore to Mysore for a day trip and planned to visit this Tegu mess after we went thru the reviews online. We ordered chicken meals, ghee rice, mutton chops, chicken pepper, chicken chilly and the owner was kind to source 2 plates of veg from another restaurant so we don't have to visit 2 different restaurants for veg and non-veg. The taste of all the foods we ordered was good. The place was crowded and you could literally feel the next person's elbow when eating. The service was poor and we had to wait for over 10-15 mins just to get an extra plate. There are no exclusive parking spaces and all the parking is on the road side. There are no menu cards available and it's all verbal. The place was way too small and squeezed for any family to sit together. The price was average but this place is not for family but rather for individuals or bunch of friends. The question is will I go back again, it's subjective and depends on who I am with. I definitely won't be going back as a family but if with only couple of friends then yes I will.
