Tea Factory Karikkode is one of those places where you go once and then you start planning your next visit even before finishing the first cup. The atmosphere itself feels like a perfect hangout spot. When you hear the name Tea Factory, you might imagine some old industrial set-up, but here it is actually a lively tea shop with a factory-like variety of teas. If you are a chai lover, this is your heaven. The tea is strong, rich, and served with that extra bit of love that only Kerala tea shops can give. You get different flavours and styles, and it is always fresh. Snacks are also a highlight. From pazhampori to spicy chicken fry, every item feels like it has its own fan club. I once saw a group of college students order ten different items just to share and taste, and they still wanted more. ഇവിടത്തെ വൈബ് ഒരു local hangout place പോലെ ആണ്. ഫ്രണ്ട്സിനൊപ്പമോ, ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്നു വരുമ്പോഴോ, രാത്രി വൈകിയോ — എപ്പോഴും ഇവിടെ ആളുകൾ കാണാം. Car parking കുറച്ചുകൂടെ tight ആണെങ്കിലും, ആളുകൾ manage ചെയ്ത് തന്നെ വരും, കാരണം ചായ miss ചെയ്യാൻ ആരും തയ്യാറല്ല. Service is usually quick even when the place is crowded. The staff are friendly and somehow always smiling even when ten customers are shouting orders at the same time. That is probably the real secret ingredient here. For me, Tea Factory Karikkode is not just about tea, it is about the whole experience — the crowd, the laughter, the smell of fried snacks, the steaming glasses of tea. If you want to taste Kollam’s real street food energy mixed with perfect chai, this is the place.
