Hotel Review (Stay Dates: July 18–20) I recently stayed at this property for two nights (July 18–20), and unfortunately my experience fell well below the standards I’ve come to expect from other MPT properties. What Didn’t Work Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I discovered small insects inside the room and in the bathroom—there was no wire mesh on the bathroom window to keep them out. Even more concerning, I found what appeared to be old blood marks on the bathroom floor, suggesting the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before check-in. Food Quality: The meals served were disappointing. Dishes lacked freshness and flavor, and several menu items tasted as though they’d been sitting for too long. Overall Maintenance: The corridors and public areas felt dated and in need of renovation. Chipped paint, worn furnishings, and loose fixtures detracted from comfort and ambiance. What Worked Service: The hotel staff were courteous and tried their best to assist with requests—check-in was smooth, and room service arrived promptly when called. Location & View: Nestled in a pleasant part of town, the property offers a nice view and easy access to nearby attractions. Verdict While the hotel’s location and staff service have merit, the serious lapses in cleanliness, maintenance, and food quality make it hard to recommend at its current standard. With a thorough deep-clean, proper insect prevention measures, and some kitchen improvements, this property could be much more enjoyable.
