Happened twice.. the bakery mixes new and old stuff and deceived us. Out of 4 or six pieces of cakes or puffs, they place the fresh pieces on top. When we went to complain and get a refund, the lady was extremely rude and thrust the cash as if we had done something wrong!
This cosy little place hidden from city tussle is a pure gem for fresh and yummy bread and cakes. I just loved the aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries. I would evidently be trying a lot more items from their menu in upcoming weeks and months.
One of the best kept secrets on Sarajpur Road. This is a little bakery which is tucked inside so may seem a little off the beaten track initially. We have been regular customers here for 3 years. What we get most often from here are the breads just to die for, absolutely fresh and genuinely brown bread with toppings of a variety of seeds. If you go in the evening you get the hot loaves and then have to wait till they are cooled to be cut. How cools is that. The bakery itself stocks a few items but anyone who plans a party or wants to have good catered food please just call the owner Gopal. We have been ordering cakes from him regularly. Tastebuds makes delicious cakes with fresh seasonal fruit. I recently got a fresh apple and walnut cake which my daughters friends just gobbled up. We have also tried fresh orange, fresh mango and a mithai cake that goes very well with Indian food. The additional really nice thing about Tastebuds is that they home deliver in areas around Sarjapur. If I ask them to deliver at 12 noon by the clock at 5 minutes to twelve the delivery boy will be at the door. No follow ups or reminders needed at all. Something which is quite rare. Keep it up guys. Great bakery, great service. Please dont grow too big and lose that fresh, bakery and personalised service charm.
