We ordered pork fry, Fish fry, fish curry, akki roti and neer dosa. The pork fry was oily and burnt. Fish curry was tasteless. Fish fry which was served were stomach pieces with hardly any flesh. Neer dosa was ok. Roti was not ok. There are better restaurants serving coorg food around. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We went to THE TASTE OF COORG recently.We went twice for lunch.The food quality is really good, the ambience gives you homely feel , plus it is pocket-friendly. Ideal if you want to eat authentic coorgi food especially non-veg. Aunty prepares and serves food single-handedly.She is very sweet, you will feel as if you are eating at your home. It's a very small eatery , but you can eat your belly full here.Cost for nonveg food for 3 people comes around Rs 750 along with starter. Pepper chicken, chicken biryani, chicken sukka, rice plate , akki roti and neer dosa are to die for.Next time I visit Coorg I will eat lunch only at this place. I love it so much. This eatery closes by 8.30 pm , so if you are planning to go for dinner, I would recommend you to go early. Best place for Coorgi food in Coorg.
