Tasmac (Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation Limited) is a state-owned corporation in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the exclusive liquor distributor in Tamil Nadu, which means that it has a monopoly on the wholesale and retail sale of alcoholic beverages in the state. Tasmac operates a large number of liquor shops, bars and pubs across Tamil Nadu. The corporation also manages the sales of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and beer in the state. Tasmac is one of the major revenue generating departments of the government of Tamil Nadu.
