Overcharging and Manipulative Billing—Be WarnedThis place is openly ripping people off. • They charged CGST and SGST on alcohol, which is illegal because alcohol is only subject to VAT, not GST. • They split the bill into two separate invoices, charged SGST & CGST and Service charges in both the bills. Clearly trying to cover up the illegal GST charges. • They added a 10% service charge on both bills automatically, without asking, even though service charges are purely optional by law. Also the service was extremely slow we ordered a pizza and it took them 2 reminders and a 50 minute wait. • No transparency or explanation from staff about these extra charges.This is not a mistake—it’s a deliberate way to cheat customers who don’t scrutinize the bill.If you eat or drink here, check every charge carefully, refuse to pay the service charge if you don’t agree, and don’t let them get away with adding GST on alcohol.Shameful practices from a restaurant that should know better. Avoid unless you enjoy being overbilled.
