Tarang Restaurant at MTDC Ganpatipule offers a mixed dining experience that leaves room for improvement. The limited availability of menu items is a significant drawback, with many (90%) dishes unavailable during our visit. The food quality is inconsistent - while some dishes like the misal, medu vada, batata wada and kanda bhaji were delicious, others disappointed. The sabudana khichdi, which required advance notice, was particularly disappointing. The chai also suffered from inconsistent taste across orders. On the positive side, the restaurant's affordability and convenient location within the MTDC resort make it a viable option for guests. However, the overall experience is marred by inconsistencies in food quality and beverage preparation. With some improvements in menu management and kitchen consistency, Tarang could become a much more satisfying dining option for visitors to Ganpatipule.
