I visited Tantissimo recently with a group of friends. This review is purely from my own experience. We ended up spending more than ₹8K, so naturally, I had high expectations from the food. Unfortunately, it fell short. We tried the Sicilian pizza, a vegetarian pizza, pasta, and a baked potato dish. The potato dish was actually quite good, and the pasta gravy was decent — but that’s where the positives ended. The pizzas were surprisingly bland, especially considering the price point. Even basic chain restaurants manage to deliver more flavor. I couldn't eat a single slice without chili flakes and oregano. Service was another issue. It took a very long time to get even simple things like a can of Coke — as if it was being manufactured in the kitchen. For a place positioning itself at a premium level, that kind of delay is hard to overlook. The ambience was okay, no complaints there. But the presentation of the food wasn't anything remarkable, and overall, the meal didn’t feel worth the cost. Looking at all the glowing reviews, I can’t help but think a lot of people feel pressured to describe the place as "gourmet" or upscale just to justify the high prices. Personally, I didn’t find the food to live up to that image. People need to stop supporting this type of things and share their real experience, not tone it down to look cool in front of others.
