If you have never tasted Mughlai cuisine, you should reserve a table at this restaurant. Being at Tansen, taste perfectly cooked biryani, paneer and chaat. This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are adequate. I am planning to visit this restaurant from sometime, managed to visit with family last week. All items ordered are very good and flavorful as well. Shorba Zafrani green peppercorn chicken Pathan ke gosht Kali mirchi ka bhuna chicken - MUST TRY Chicken kurchan n pickle onion - Kulcha MUST TRY Lamb biryani Ambience is very good Serving should be little better Overall - will definitely try again Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mugal style cuisine, soothing live classical music, and a setting that feels like you’ve stepped into a royal durbar. Gold-infused water served at the table—a unique, luxurious touch that sets the tone.The wide variant chutneys was special. The treat started with welcome drinks.The food was succulent and delicious. Flavours were bold and balanced, I really enjoyed my self.Prices are high compared to any restaurant.The live music (Hindi songs) was soothing. I just don't get the allure of this restaurant. It reminds me of a movie set — a glittering facade that isn't backed up by any foundation. You can see the paint coming away in a few locations, and the quality of the food just doesn't measure up to starred hotels. The music was entirely too loud; I always like live music in restaurants like this, but there really is no need to blast the sound everywhere. Oh, and they have a trashbin in the work area that isn't closed — that's just basic negligence. The wait staff is always looming, and they got the starters and mains at the same time, so by the time we got to the main dish, it was cold. We've been excited to go after looking at the decor, but it ultimately isn't what we wanted, and if anything, Ohri's Tansen in necklace road continues to be the better choice out of these two. Trident's Kanak is still the best if you want better food and ambience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
