We visited Tannu Restaurant and had one of the worst dining experiences ever. Upon being seated, we were not served water until we specifically asked — and even then, they provided a local brand water bottle instead of a standard packaged brand. Our food took more than 30 minutes to arrive. The starter we ordered (Masala Papad) was served after another item we had ordered later, which made no sense. We ordered Sev Tamatar and Lasaniya Sev, but both dishes turned out to be exactly the same. One of them was not even served properly. The staff were unprofessional and even started arguing with each other right in front of us. We ordered Pulav, but it was delayed so much that we had to cancel it — only to be told by the manager later that they didn’t have the required ingredients in the first place. Service was so poor that we could not even enjoy our meal. No one apologised for the repeated mistakes. The mukhwas kept on the table was stale. Staff lacked basic manners — forgetting to provide spoons and other essentials, taking incorrect orders, and generally behaving as if they had no idea how to serve customers. Overall, the service, staff behaviour, and food management were unacceptable. This was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
