I had a wonderful experience at Tango, the new family bar and restaurant in the Shaurya Inn Hotel in Jamshedpur. The ambience was classy and well-designed, offering different seating options to cater to various preferences. While I would have preferred openable windows on the rooftop for a better winter experience, everything else about the place felt just right. One aspect that was a letdown during my visit to Tango was the music selection. They seemed to struggle in picking a consistent genre, and at times, sad heartbreak songs were played, which didn't match the vibrant and classy vibe of the place. This mismatch in music gave the impression of a cheap bar rather than a family bar and restaurant, affecting the overall ambiance negatively. It would have been better if they had chosen music more in line with the establishment's theme to enhance the dining experience further. The food at Tango was absolutely delicious. We tried a mix of Indian and Continental starters, including Stuffed Mushrooms, Spring Rolls, Cordon Bleu, and a Kebab Platter, all of which were delightful. The standout dish was the Mushroom Alfredo Pasta, hands down one of the best in town. The main courses, Risotto, and Lasagna, were pretty good as well. Those who ordered North Indian dishes had good things to say, especially about the Dal Makhani. However, the Sizzling Brownie with Ice Cream was a bit underwhelming. As for the service, I can't speak for crowded days, as we visited on a dry day, and the bar was relatively empty. Nonetheless, the staff was attentive, polite, and friendly, providing helpful suggestions on what to order. The pricing at Tango was reasonable, making it a great place that doesn't feel overpriced. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I would recommend Tango to anyone looking for a delightful and satisfying culinary journey in Jamshedpur.
