The ambience is excellent …. The food was pathetic.. idly Vada plate was very cold , served after 15 minutes . The least we expect in a hotel for breakfast is that dosa, sambar and idly would be piping hot .. add GST for your woes ! Highly Unsatisfactory! Our visit to Tamarind Tree Restaurant was ruined by extremely slow and disorganized service. After we placed our food order, we waited for one full hour. A supervisor then informed us they had lost the order chit and asked us to order again. We repeated the order patiently, but the delay continued. We waited nearly another hour for simple food like chapati. This problem was widespread; many other tables also faced the same excessive delays. This shows a major issue with how the restaurant is managed. A total wait of almost two hours for basic food due to a lost order is unacceptable. Recommendation: Due to the proven incompetence and the unacceptable service delays, we strongly do not recommend this restaurant to future customers.
