Heritage, 5-star, luxury hotel in the Colaba area of Mumbai. Built in the Indo-Saracenic style and opened in 1903. Allegedly built backwards due to the architect working remotely - the current pool area was intended to face the harbor. Don’t miss tea or lunch from the Sea Lounge with views of the adjacent Gateway of India. The Taj was a significant site of the infamous 2008 Mumbai terrorism attacks.
