Was really looking forward to dining at TAJ restaurant, especially since it's a government undertaking and I expected good quality food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite! The food was surprisingly expensive, and to add to that, the taste was just not up to the mark. I ordered the Taj Veg Thali and Dal Tadka Platter, and it was just average - nothing special. The service was okay, but not worth the price I paid. Guess I won't be going back anytime soon. Not recommended if you're looking for a good deal or authentic Indian flavors. 3 stars, sorry TAJ!
