Tai Chi 8 is pretty near Gariahat Market. Chinese cuisine under the direction of the great chef is wonderful here. Visit this restaurant to try nicely cooked chilli chicken, shrimp tempura and thai chicken. You can share tasty chocolate roll with your friends and have a good time here.

The paneer was stinky and strange in texture. The mushroom and paneer both had intolerable levels of spicy. The potato Bao was nice and the chilli garlic noodles even though being spicy in the name was less spicy than the paneer and the mushroom.

I organized my husband's birthday party here in June. it was a family dinner where I hosted around 15 ppl. And it was a fantastic experience I had at Tai Chi 8.The location is excellent being easily accessible from Gariahat & Kashba.The restaurant ambience is perfect for a cozy family dinner. Soothing background music, low yellow lights, and well spaced dining tables make it a perfect spot for family dining with elderly people and kids.The food was fantastic. The Korean Green Chicken deserves a special mention. it's a must try. In the main course, Chicken in Chandau sauce was another hit from the list. The taste was absolutely different than any other Chinese main course. The dimusums had a very fine and thin coating with flavourful stuffing of prawn & chicken. The mixed bell pepper noodles surpassed our expectations. It had minimum sauce that kept the flavours of spices in the noodles intact. And the in-house Coconut Ice cream gave the perfect ending to the dinner. Must try mocktails for a summer refreshment - Pineapple Mojito and Shinobi.Indranil, Somnath and team did a great job serving us and recommending the food options from the menu. My entire family was content with the food & service.
