Dropped by Tai Chi for a solo lunch.Started with the truffle prawn har gao — beautifully plated and tasted good. For the price, it was decent, but the use of frozen prawns slightly muted the flavour. The almond prawns had the same issue: visually impressive, well made, but fresh prawns would’ve elevated the dish a lot more.The Tai Chi chilli chicken was a letdown. The chicken was over-fried and rubbery. When I mentioned it to the staff, I was told that all their chicken is prepared this way, so they offered fish instead. Tried the dragon fish — labelled spicy, but didn’t really feel the heat. Still, it was better balanced overall.Finished with darsan, which was decent.Bill came to around ₹1500, and after discounts I paid ₹1300, which felt reasonable. Service was polite, but it was hard to get attention since no staff stayed on the floor, despite the restaurant being empty.Overall, average food, decent pricing, and okay service. Personally felt the place is overhyped by influencers — looks great, but flavours don’t fully live up to the buzz.
