I didn’t have a hard order : I just asked for sirloin, rare. Fries came 18 minutes before meat. Of course I asked them to bring some hot ones again, which took again 10 minutes so I could not eat them together. Meat cooking was not respected as photo can prove. That was definitely not rare fries from freezer. Basically all they do is go to buy meat when you order and cook it, not lots of skills needed but they don’t have it. For the price paid (1000 for a steak and a lemon soda) I don’t expect any issues, I would say if you’re craving for beef go there but don’t put your expectations too high. I’d been hearing about Titu’s Taqueria for awhile now and was keen to try it out. It’s located at Palarivattom, close to the flyover, but it’s a bit tricky to find cos it’s on a side lane. But the ambience is nice and has a slight Goa-vibe, which was unexpected! My friend and I tried the soft shell chicken tacos and then the NY striploin and the filet mignon, plus a refreshing cold drink as well. What was fascinating was the fact that the person serving us clearly mentioned that as a rule, they refuse to cook steaks well-done! Kudos to them, if you ask me! The service was simple and sufficient; the waiters were attentive, but because of the few tables, it felt a bit rushed, and the bill came out faster than I anticipated – not a deal-breaker, mind you. We were informed about how long the food would take, which was helpful and when it arrived, it was blow-torched at the table for the right temperature. Initially, it seemed as if the portions were not going to be enough, but by the end of the meal, we felt full! A good steak experience and I will definitely want to visit Titu’s Taqueria again! This place is a hidden gem! I'm a huge fan and visit frequently. Their filet mignon and rib eye steak are simply divine. Don't miss their churros, they're incredible! The only downside is the limited parking.
