Thirthan Crest Homestay was my choice when I was looking for accommodation in an off beat area for my first ever exploration trip in the foothills of the Himalayas. There was something about this place that seemed warm and welcoming, including the prompt response from the host when I first wrote to him. And I must say that the welcome I received at the property was very welcoming even though I reached the place at an ungodly hour nearing midnight. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and all necessary amenities like hot water and warm quilts. The meals could be ordered off a menu, were tasty and always freshly prepared. The staff are very friendly and ensure that you are comfortable and well cared for. The property has lovely views of the mountains and the river. Public transport is available at the doorstep. The Banjar town is a 15 minute walk up the road. Aut Mandi is about an hour away from where you can get buses to Kullu and Manali or to Chandigarh and Delhi in the other direction. Service: 5

I stayed here for 2 weeks and had an awesome time. The host is one of the best people I have ever met in my life. He treats you just like his family. The hospitality is amazing and everything is done in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone who wants to have an extremely safe and comfortable stay in Tirthan valley.

The owner of the place is so calm and welcoming. I felt like home till the end of the stay. Totally recommend this place.
