Balangir, traditionally known as a quiet town with limited café culture, has recently begun witnessing a welcome rise in new establishments. Among them, Tinto Café stands out as one of the newest additions, bringing with it a sense of freshness to the local dining scene. The café offers a warm and inviting ambience, polite and attentive staff, a concise yet thoughtfully curated menu, and an overall pleasant spot for both casual gatherings with friends and relaxed outings with family.During my visit, we sampled the Sassy Chicken and French Toast from the food menu, along with an Iced Latte and an Americano from the beverage section. The food was satisfactory overall, with the French Toast emerging as the unexpected highlight—it was exceptionally well-prepared and exceeded my initial expectations.The beverages, however, left room for improvement. The Iced Latte lacked depth in flavor, and the Americano, being made from instant sachet coffee, did not align with the standards one would expect at a café.While Tinto Café is not without its shortcomings, it represents a refreshing step forward for Balangir’s evolving café landscape. The effort to bring café culture to this town is commendable, and with continued improvements in quality and consistency, Tinto has the potential to solidify its position as a favorite among locals.
