This is the greatest spot near Birla Temple. The menu of Chinese and Indian cuisines is recommended to try at this bar. You can always enjoy nicely cooked tandoori chicken, fried chicken and chicken rolls at Ballygunge Dhaba. Do not go away without eating good kulfi, chocolate fudge and falooda. Most likely, you'll come back to this place later to order delicious cordial. You will be offered great mango lassi, tea or lemonade.
It's easy to find this spot due to the great location. The staff is gracious that's what makes this bar so nice. Terrific service is something that visitors note in their comments. Ballygunge Dhaba is one of those age-old gems that has stood the test of time, serving quality North Indian food in the heart of Kolkata. If you’re a fan of Makki Ki Roti & Sarson Ka Saag, winter is the best time to visit. They also serve fantastic rolls, but be prepared—the prices are really, really high! Today's Lunch Adventure Since Ballygunge Dhaba is close to my office, I dropped in for a quick lunch today and ordered Mutton Butter Masala with Naan. Mutton: Tender and well-cooked. Gravy: Could have been better—lacked that rich, buttery depth I expected. What I Recommend? On my previous visit, I had the Mutton Keema Masala, and that was absolutely fantastic! So, if you’re here for mutton, Mutton Keema Masala is the best bet. Quick Notes: Quality & Quantity: Good. Service: Quick. Food Freshness: No complaints.
