Sreedharamangalam Sreekrishna Temple is a great attraction for tourists who come to eat at this restaurant after long walks. TAQASHI MANDI with takeaway dishes is good for those visitors who like to have supper in a hurry. This place offers you to try nicely cooked mandi which is hard to forget. The pleasant staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The terrific service is a great plus of this spot. You might pay your attention to the pretty atmosphere. But this restaurant has been rated below average by Google.

Tried the Kuzhimandi and Madfoon from Taqashi Mandi, and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. The rice served for both dishes was exactly the same, which makes me question the authenticity—especially for Madfoon, which typically uses a different preparation. Taste-wise, it lacked the depth we expected. The biggest letdown was finding a piece of aluminium foil in the Madfoon, which was quite off-putting. Mistakes can happen, and we understand that nothing is perfect—but serving food with more care is essential, especially when health is a concern. On the positive side, the service was decent (4/5), and the ambience was quite nice and clean (4/5), but that alone couldn’t make up for the food quality. Giving it a 2/5 overall rating. Hope they take this feedback positively and work on improving both the taste and attention to detail in food handling. Would love to try again if improvements are made. It seems there was a mix-up between Madfoon and Madhooth, which are two completely different dishes in both preparation and presentation: Madfoon is a dish where the chicken is wrapped in foil and slow-cooked, then served over our traditional mandi rice. Madhooth, on the other hand, is prepared differently. In Madhooth, the chicken and rice are cooked separately with different spices and techniques, giving it a distinct texture and flavor. In our restaurant, both Madfoon and several other dishes are served with mandi rice, which might have caused some confusion.
