Booked a table for the screening of Ind vs Nz T20 final match by paying the cover charge of INR 500.0 on District app. At the time of entry, we were asked to pay INR 1,500.0 as cover charges stating that ‘District’ app is a third party app and ‘Tap’ will decide the prices. After seating on the table for an hour, the manager asked us to move to a corner table as the table was booked by someone else by paying INR 20,000. We were informed about this fact 1 hour after seating and were offered corner seats. How does the manager remember 1 hour later that the table was booked? If such was the case, we would have not sat on the said table. Honestly, pathetic experience. I understand that the moment was auspicious and the restaurant wanted to make most it, but atleast try not to make a mockery of customers in this process.
