This place is good for its chaat food. The preparation and the hygiene is properly maintained. The papi puri which you get here steals the show hands down from other chaat items. So would definitely recommend this place if you are a Pani puri lover and frequently visit Aundh.
A little work on the ambience and seating arrangement would make it even better.
Overall a good place to give a try. Light on pocket too.
This is a place I visited regularly from around 2008-2012. And by regularly I mean about once or twice a week at first and then a bit less frequently later. Yesterday I visited again after almost 4 years I think and for the first time with my wife, to show her a place where I ate often when I first moved to Pune.
Lets get a few things clear first. This is a street food joint and has an open area with an open kitchen. This is just to keep expectations in check. You can't expect Kimling or April Rain quality of food here, but whatever I have tried has been quite good. Over the years my friends and I have tried most of their menu items and have been satisfied with almost everything.
The one thing we really loved were the stuffed parathas, especially the cheese paratha and the paneer paratha. I had the cheese paratha again yesterday to see if it was still as good as it used to be and I wasn't disappointed. Its a good place for those people who cannot or do not cook their own food but also don't want to go to a restaurant every day. They serve a lot of variety for a small place, namely chinese, punjabi, chaat, pav bhaji, thali and of course the stuffed parathas.
Go here with the right expectations and I am sure you will not be disappointed. It is definitely a place I connect with a number of good meals and memories.
This place is good only for chat, samosa abd kachoris. The thali and the chinese items are below average. Once I had placed an order for which they took more than one and a half hours to deliver at my place which is hardly 200 metres away from sweets corner. The food was very very oily.
A little work on the ambience and seating arrangement would make it even better.
