The food is prepared fresh for all patrons, and they are willing to make items without onion and garlic for those who prefer it. The prices are very reasonable and the food is tasty and hygienic. The Maharaja Thali is especially recommended, as it comes with unlimited servings. They also offer a variety of parathas and rotis, lassis, and Punjabi Paneer. For those travelling by train, they offer delivery parcel at the hotel and even at the railway station. All in all, Swaruchi Restaurant & Caterers is an excellent choice for a vegetarian meal in Ujjain.

If you're thinking of trying Swaruchi Restaurant, don’t. This was hands-down one of the most pathetic food experiences I’ve had. I ordered a masala dosa and parathas. The dosa was literally filled with soda—so much that it tasted sour, and the texture was rubbery and weirdly spongy. Clearly, they have no clue how to ferment dosa batter properly or they’re just cutting corners. As if that wasn't enough, the parathas were drenched in salt. It was like biting into a salt block. Completely inedible. I’m honestly shocked this place is still running with such low standards of food quality. Total waste of money and time. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Had a decent meal at Swaruchi Restaurant in Ujjain — definitely better than what we tried the previous day. The Dal Khichdi was superb and really comforting. However, the paneer dish didn’t feel very fresh. Overall, a decent option for a quick meal with good service. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian
