According to the visitors' reviews, Chinese and Sichuan dishes here are quite nice. Enjoy nicely cooked bhaji this restaurant offers. Terrific service is something that guests highlight in their comments.
The first time I had something from Swaagatam was a takeaway - Swaagatam Special Pav Bhaji. Now this was almost a year back and I remember it to be a loaded one, with cheese and lots of other ingredients(I guess dry fruits too!). Not bad at all.
There was no other opportunity to go to this small restaurant situated next to Mukta talkies (popularly known as Jai hind cinema) until last weekend when a cousin was meeting us late for dinner and we decided to go out.
This time again we called for their Amul butter Pav bhaji which was the buttery red bhaji along with pav. It wasn't spicy at all and everyone quite enjoyed it. Next we called for the Paneer chilly that tasted like any other Chinese starter followed by the Hara bhara Kabab, which was served with green chutney and was quite tasty. We ended our meal with a single portion each of Caramel custard and Kesar phirni, both of which were satisfactory.
The manager was friendly and the service speed was just about average. While the Pav bhaji and Chinese came to our table real quick, the other dishes took some time to arrive. Nothing exceptional about the place, but good to try if around the area.
