Recently I had the chance to visit Swagat Corner, located near Tulsi Dam Char Rasta in Manjalpur. This place turned out to be a hidden gem for Punjabi food lovers, and I was quite impressed with the overall experience. We visited for dinner during the monsoon season, and while the open-air seating setup has its charm, it does pose a challenge when it rains since there is no proper roof covering the area. During monsoon, the seating can get tricky, but in other seasons I can imagine it would be a pleasant experience to dine there. Coming to the food, Swagat Corner truly shines. Their rumali roti is absolutely superb — soft, thin, and fresh, just the way it should be. We also ordered paneer tikka masala, which was packed with flavor and had the right balance of spices. The paneer was soft and well-marinated, and the gravy was delicious. Alongside, we tried their veg biryani, which turned out to be surprisingly good, with aromatic rice and well-blended spices that made it very enjoyable. The pricing is reasonable, making it a budget-friendly spot to enjoy authentic Punjabi flavors without compromising on taste. The staff was polite and attentive, though the service could be a bit more streamlined, especially on busy evenings. Overall, Swagat Corner is a place I would recommend to anyone looking for tasty Punjabi food in Manjalpur. If they could improve their monsoon seating arrangements, it would make the experience even better. Still, with their delicious food and fair pricing, they easily deserve a solid 4-star rating. I will definitely consider visiting again in a better season to enjoy a more comfortable dining experience.
