This small, humble hotel has been serving delicious food for years, and the moment you step in, you can feel the warmth and simplicity that today’s modern restaurants often lack. What makes this place truly special is that the dishes are still prepared on a traditional CHULHA — there is no gas, no fancy setup, just pure, old-fashioned cooking that brings out unbeatable flavour. Every dish here tastes fresh, homely, and absolutely delicious. Whether it’s idli, dosa, vada, uttapa, the flavours remind you of traditional South Indian homes. The chulha cooking gives the food an aroma and authenticity that is impossible to find anywhere else. The owner is extremely polite, soft-spoken, and treats every customer with respect, and the he is very quick and attentive. Even though the hotel is small, the service is surprisingly fast, and the quality has stayed consistent over the years. Surya Hotel is the kind of place that may look simple from outside, but once you taste the food, you realise it is a true hidden gem of Ulhasnagar. If you love authentic, traditional, homely food made with love, Surya Hotel is a must-visit. A rare place where simplicity, tradition, and amazing taste come together perfectly.
