Beach front property on Gokarna main beach. Neat and clean rooms. They have private parking about 300 mts from main road. Food was good. Helpful staff. Service: 5

We stayed at this hotel a week ago and were very disappointed with the experience. The service was extremely poor. We had to walk more than 200 meters in the dark just to reach the café—there were no lights along the way, making it unsafe and uncomfortable. The overall maintenance of the property was lacking, and there were frequent electricity issues. To make matters worse, whenever we had questions or needed assistance, there was no one available or willing to help. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place. Service: 1

Bhuvaneshwari, I want to remind you that you arrived at a time of IMD weather RED ALERT, with stormy winds, incessant rain and rough seas. Some issues like power outages and tripped cables were just unavoidable. I even alerted you two days in advance about the impending situation but you went ahead with your plans. Even then, we ran our gen set power backup just for you the full night. Our staff were there 24/7 to help you, it’s just that they too had to take shelter inside due to the stormy weather. You could have called or talked to me just once in your entire three day stays regarding your alleged issues with the rooms, but you didn't! At this point we can only apologize to you for failing to provide you the most awesome stay, and yes we always make amends for our future guests. Regarding putting lights on a stretch of the walkway to the rooms at the beach, yes we are working to make those rain-proof.

For anyone looking for a budget-friendly option that doesn’t sacrifice quality, Surya Beach Cafe and Stay is the place to be! The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. It’s not overly fancy, but it has everything you need for a great night’s sleep. The location is fantastic for exploring the city, and there are lots of affordable food options nearby. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, which made all the difference. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for great value. Service: 4
