Had a Wonderful Dining Experience here the other day. We were a Group of 7 and all from Mangalore. Mentioning this because Mangloreans know their Seafood very well. We ordered Seafood - Surmai fish,Mackerel/Bangude,Squid.Also Chicken & Mutton. Every dish lived up to our expectations. Fresh & full of flavour !! The Service was exemplary. Have to Mention the Restaurant Manager- Mr Lavish for his exemplary Customer Service !! Highly Recommend this place for the Most Authentic Manglorean Cuisine !! I recently stumbled upon Surmai Coastal Cuisine in Malad West, and I'm so glad I did! This quaint spot specializes in Malvan-Konkan cuisine, and their seafood dishes truly shine. The Seafood Platter was a delightful mix of flavors and textures having fishes like Surmai Fry, Pomfret Fry, Bangda Fry, Bombil Fry, Mandeli Fry and Prawns Fry, were served hot. We also had the Surmai Special Thali and Prawns Thali – the fish was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sides complemented it beautifully. The succulent prawns simply melted in my mouth. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a lovely dining experience. If you're in the mood for authentic coastal cuisine, Surmai Coastal Cuisine is definitely worth a visit.
